BRYC Boys 12 Smack Win (2012-02-05)
BRYC Boys 12 won their first tournament on Sunday with a co-ed team including two players from our BRYC 12 Smack girls team. Congratulations to the boys and girls on their big win.

16 SMACK Rolls... (2012-01-29)
BRYC 16 Smack takes 1st place at the Braddock Road 16 Invitational, their second consecutive first place tournament win. After finishing 2nd off the net in pool play, Smack blew past CVVC in the semi-final round which earned them a second shot at the NVVA Open 16 team to whom they lost in three sets during pool play. Smack took out the the top seed in two sets.
Also, BRYC 16-2 finished 3rd in this tournament, their first event of the season.
Congratulations and Great Job to both of our 16s teams! This is a great start to the season.

BRYC 17 Smack won their final six matches, finishing the weekend 6-2, and took home gold in their playoff pool at Monument City Classic in Richmond, VA over MLK weekend.

14 SMACK wins first GOLD of the year! (2012-01-14)
BRYC 14 SMACK dominated the NVVA 13/14s tournament to take its first gold medal in its first tournament of the season. SMACK faced six teams in the ten team format, playing two sets against each. SMACK lost one set in its last match before the playoffs and then rolled through the semi-finals and finals for an overall 11-1 record on the day. Great job ladies!

Braddock Road Volleyball Club would like to congratulate Emily Nagel and Jessica Trieu for receiving selections to the all-regional teams for the VHSL Northern Region. Emily received a 1st Team Northern Region selection and Jessica was selected as the 2nd Team Northern Region Libero.
Emily has played with Braddock Road for the past four years and Jessica has played with us for the past three years on the BRYC Blaze team under coaches Bryan Davis, Laura Stevens and Monika Christoff. Both are seniors at West Springfield High School.
Great job girls and keep up the hard work!
