Jeanne Baily
Head Coach - BRYC 12 Smack
Jeanne Arcaro Baily has coached for BRYC Volleyball House League for 4 years and is currently playing a critical role in growing boys volleyball in the Northern VA area by coaching BRYC's first-ever Boy's Club Volleyball Team in the 14's Division. The team won its first tournament on Jan 30, 2011. Jeanne was a standout player at the University of Maryland as an outside hitter and backup setter. She was team captain for her team during her senior year.
Jeanne is an IMPACT Certified volleyball coach with 26 years of coaching experience. She has coached men's, women's and junior teams since 1985. Her first men's team (all new players) went from the worst in USAV at the "B" level to winning the USAV Men's "B" Regional's the same year.
Jeanne has played at the National level in Women's Open and Co-ed Open, even placing 2nd in a Coed Open event. She has been competing at the USAV Nationals in the Women's 40s Division for the last 5 years, playing against ex-nationals players from the US, Canada, Brazil and Venezuela, placing 4th in two of the events.
Volleyball has taken her all over the United States and outside the country (she was a player coach on a women's team that placed 1st in a tournament in the Cayman Islands.)
Although Jeanne still plays volleyball, her passion is now coaching. She enjoys using her experience to motivate and challenge young players. Her training sessions are highly energized and never boring. She pushes her players to be the best that they can be, while still having fun! Jeanne is a true ambassador of the sport of volleyball.
Ron Budreau
Head Coach - BRYC 13 Smack
Coach Ron Budreau comes to Braddock Road Volleyball as the former Middle School Volleyball Director for Springfield Youth Club (SYC). He also was in charge of organizing and leading the Elementary and Middle School ALL STAR programs at SYC. He has been active in promoting youth volleyball for years in the Northern VA area. Having coached for many years at SYC, Coach Budreau transferred to Braddock Road Volleyball as a Head Coach for a Middle School team as well as coaching the Middle School ALL STAR team. Coach Budreau now is taking his coaching talents to the 13’s Division of Braddock Road Volleyball. He is IMPACT certified and has attended multiple coaching clinics, most recent being by Olympic Gold Medalist, Pat Powers. Coach Budreau prides himself on being fair and positive with his players, and fostering a love for the game in a positive and supportive environment. He is looking forward to coaching with the Braddock Road Volleyball Club.
Patty Hibner
Assistant Coach - BRYC 13 Smack
Patty began her volleyball career in Indiana, playing for the Muncie Burris Owls. During her high school years, her team won the State Championship twice and she was selected to the All-State Team her senior year. She played volleyball at Southern Illinois University until three arm surgeries ended her college career. She moved back to Muncie and coached a middle school team and a junior varsity team. After college, Patty coached a 15's club team in Lafayette and played on several co-ed teams. After taking a long hiatus from volleyball, Patty got back into coaching when her daughter expressed interest in playing. She coached a house volleyball team with Mark Thompson for 2 years and then decided to follow her daughter to club. She plans to coach her son on a house league this spring.Daniel Rios
Head Coach - BRYC 14 Smack
Dan Rios volleyball career started in middle school as an outside hitter, in high school he transitioned to setter/outside hitter and was co-captain of his high school program. Dan has over 6 years of coaching experience at the high school and club levels. He has served as Head Coach for varsity and freshmen teams in Northern Virginia. Dan has previously coached teams in the 14’s and 17’s division; in 2010 his 14’s team won CHRVA Club Gold Regional Championship.
Dan is ASEP, VHSL certified coach, USAV IMPACT, CAP I, CAP II certified and Gold Medal Squared trained. Dan has also attended coaches’ clinic at Penn State University and George Mason University. Dan holds a degree in Sport’s Management and is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).
When Dan is not coaching he continues to play with a Men's USAV team in Virginia, as well as in local leagues playing as a setter and outside hitter.
Greg Rondepierre
Assistant Coach - BRYC 14 Smack
Greg Rondepierre is in his sixth year coaching volleyball for Braddock Road. Greg is a big proponent of athletics for youth, and continues to stay active himself through adult tennis and softball leagues. He played varsity tennis in high school and lacrosse at the University of Arizona. It was his move to Arizona during high school where he discovered and played recreational volleyball.
Greg strives for and enjoys watching the growth of each of his players; not only in their physical ability, but in their mental makeup as well. He tries to get the most out of his players through positive reinforcement. He also enjoys handling the administrative duties for the team, such as tournament scheduling and game day coordination. He was also thrilled to have taken part in Olympic Gold Medalist, Pat Powers' recent clinic.
Greg is USAV IMPACT certified. He takes great pride in being a part of Braddock Road’s volleyball growth and mission.
Greg McIntyre
Head Coach - BRYC 14-2
This is Coach Greg McIntyre’s fourth year of coaching junior girls. Last year, he joined Coach Phil Oshida to co-head coached the Braddock Road 18-2. Coach McIntyre has also coached 13/14’s teams for the Springfield Youth Club. Greg will join Coach Oshida again this year to co-coach Braddock Road’s 14-2 team. They look forward to coaching together again. Like Phil, Greg emphasizes not only learning the sound volleyball skills but playing smart. He enjoys seeing his players improve throughout the season and having fun as they learn new skills.
Coach McIntyre has played USAV adult men’s volleyball in Ohio Valley Region and now in the Chesapeake Region and has played several times in the US Adult Open Volleyball Championships. He also plays in several local volleyball leagues and during the summer plays in several Mid-Atlantic Volleyball doubles grass and sand volleyball tournaments. Coach McIntyre is IMPACT certified.
Phil Oshida
Head Coach - BRYC 14-2
This is Phil’s fifth consecutive year of coaching junior girls. Last year, he coached a 15s team and a BRYC 18s team, and has coached 14s teams during the preceding three years. He will only coach this one BRYC team this season.
As a coach, Phil emphasizes doing the right thing at the right time in the right way. He considers coaching to be a privilege and a terrific opportunity to help young players learn about volleyball skills, mental preparedness, leadership, communication, supporting teammates, and loving the game. He has great fun helping his players improve during the season and seeing their joy as they master new skills. Coaching 14s is especially enjoyable because the players are enthusiastic and improve so quickly. For most 14s, there is a tangible goal of playing high school volleyball next fall.
Phil played USAV adult mens B/BB volleyball with Greg McIntyre and is a member of a senior mens volleyball team that annually participates in the US Adult Open Volleyball Championships.
Phil will co-coach with Greg McIntyre. They co-coached the BRYC 18s Vipers last year and look forward to coaching together again. They have been friends for many years and play on volleyball teams together. They are of “one mind” when playing together, which makes for an effective coaching and teaching tandem. Their goals are to help the girls love the game and acquire the skills to excel in volleyball.
Phil is part of a volleyball family. Phil and his wife of 33 years, Sandy, met while playing recreational volleyball at California State University Long Beach. Their daughters Caitlin and Macara have recently played volleyball for the University of Mary Washington and BRYC/Woodson High School, respectively.
Phil is employed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency where he works to protect the Nation's drinking water.
Jeannette Fisher
Head Coach - BRYC 15 Smack
Coach Jeannette Fisher began her volleyball career when a Junior in High School. As captain of the 1982 AA State Championship team for Woodlawn High School, Baltimore County, Maryland Coach Fisher was selected to the All State and All - Metro team. Her club career began in the Chesapeake Region as a member of the Baltimore Juniors. After High School, Jeannette was a member of the George Mason University team. After suffering a shoulder injury she chose to concentrate on academics. However, her competitive nature and the love of the game brought her back. She played on a USVBA Team (now USVA) for Reston Volleyball. In addition, she played on a co-ed team and a Fairfax County adult league.
Following a several year break from the game to raise her five children, Jeannette returned to the sport. Now in her 6th season as a youth league coach, Coach Fisher is concentrating on teaching the game.
In her spare time, Coach Fisher enjoys singing with the Fairfax Choral Society and her Church Choir. And, from time to time, she can be found playing a good game of "pepper" with her children.

Coach Everhart is a 2011 graduate of Lake Braddock Secondary School where she was a 3-year starter as a setter. In her senior year the Bruins won the Patriot District Championship. Coach Everhart also played for the “STRIKERS”, first ever club team for Braddock Road Volleyball Club in 2007. She continued playing for the STRIKERS and was part of the first graduating class of the Braddock Road Volleyball Club in 2011. Coach Everhart is IMPACT certified and eager to start her coaching career with Braddock Road.
Elliott Warriner
Head Coach - BRYC 15-2
Coach Warriner is a graduate of Eastern Mennonite University where he was a standout libero. He first started playing Club volleyball at age 13 with NVVA. His most notable volleyball accomplishments are when at age 15 he was invited to participate at the top High Performance camp, and traveled to the Colorado Olympic Training Facility. At age 16 he was AAU Nationals tournament MVP, as well as made the A2 camp in Irvine California and competed at Nationals. At age 17, Coach Warriner made the High Performance developmental camp. Coach Warriner got his first coaching experience coaching a 14's NVVA boy's team and has continued to do so every year upon his return to VA. His ability to effectively communicate to his players and teach them the fine art of volleyball defense has contributed to his coaching success. Coach Warriner is currently the freshman team coach at Fairfax High School and this will be Coach Warriner's second season with Braddock Road Volleyball Club.

Aubrey Eaton
Head Coach - BRYC 16 Smack
Coach Aubrey Eaton had a successful career at Dulles High School (Houston, Texas) and the Houston Juniors Club and received a full scholarship for volleyball to Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas after graduation. In her Junior and Senior seasons as a middle blocker, she was named to the 1st team All Southland Conference Team and was named Southland Conference Player of the Year in her senior season. She made the All-Southland Conference Tournament team in each of her final 3 seasons. Her collegiate career was capped by SFA's first trip to the NCAA tournament following a 32-4 season. She still holds the Southland Conference record for career block assists and led the conference in aces her senior year (28th nationally in Division I). In 1999 she was inducted into the Stephen F. Austin Athletic Hall of Fame. This will be her second season coaching with BRYC, and she is very proud of last year's team which won 3 division championships and finished 3rd overall in the 15 division at the Revolutionary Rumble in Williamsburg.
She is currently the Junior Varsity coach at West Springfield High School and still enjoys playing occasionally in local adult leagues.
Dave Eaton
Assistant Coach - BRYC 16 Smack
Coach Dave Eaton is in his second year with BRYC after being coaxed out of coaching "retirement" by his wife, Coach Aubrey. Coach Dave has 16 years of experience coaching youth sports, primarily baseball, and most enjoys coaching and studying the motivational, self-confidence, and mental discipline aspects of the game, which are critical to success in any sport. In addition to on-court assistance, Coach Dave provides administrative coordination for the team. He is very excited about the upcoming season and is looking forward to another successful year. He is both USAV IMPACT and NFHS certified.
In addition to coaching, Coach Dave spent 6 years on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for West Springfield Little League.
Mona Williams
Head Coach - BRYC 16-2
Coach Williams started her volleyball career at Northside High School (in Louisiana), where she fell in love with the sport. After high school, Coach Williams joined the military where she continued playing in Germany. She started coaching a house team in 2004 when her oldest daughter started playing. Coach Williams has been coaching at Edison High School for over 5 years, working with the Freshmen, JV, and Varsity teams. Coach Williams enjoys coaching this sport just as much as she enjoys playing. She believes in working smarter on the floor not harder. Coach Williams is IMPACT certified, a VHSL certified coach, ASEP and gold medal square certified.2009-2011: Coach for Ichiban Volleyball Club 14 and 16's.
2007-present: Head Freshmen Coach and Assistant Varsity for Edison High School.
2006-2007: Head JV coach and Assistant Varsity for Edison High School.
2008-2009: Head coach 14’s Franconia Volleyball Club.
Jose Colchao

Coach Jose Colchao has 40 years of volleyball experience as a player and more than 25 years of coaching.
Coach Colchao played for the Junior and National Team of Peru. In 1985 he was the assistant for the women's team and Head Coach for the men's volleyball team of Gallaudet University. In 1988 he was an Assistant Coach for the men's volleyball team of George Mason University where they reached the NCAA Final Four. He continued coaching at a recreational level and the past 3 years he coached Lake Braddock High School boy's club volleyball team. Presently, he plays at a recreational level in Fairfax County. This will be Coach Colchao's third season with Braddock Road Volleyball Club.

Bryan Davis
Head Coach - BRYC 18 Smack
Coach Bryan Davis has over 20 years of combined volleyball experience as a player and coach. In fall of 2007, Coach Davis began his coaching career as the varsity assistant coach at West Springfield High School and helped coach the team to a Patriot District championship that year. Coach Davis worked three years as the Junior Varsity Head Coach at West Springfield and continued working with the varsity team as a varsity assistant coach, from 2008 to 2010.
After the 2007 high school season, Coach Davis and Coach Thompson started Braddock Road Volleyball Club with the BRYC Strikers 15s team. Coach Davis plans to continue building the Braddock Road program as the 18s coach this club season. By teaching the concepts of teamwork and accountability, Coach Davis continues to produce teams that are extremely successful on the court and also close friends off the court.
Coach Davis' playing experience goes back to the age of 10, when he learned to pass and hit a volleyball in the backyard with his older brother. He started playing competitively when he joined his middle school team in the 6th grade. Coach Davis' played one year JV and 3 years on varsity in high school and played for 3 years at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.
Coach Davis is IMPACT, ASEP, and VHSL certified and Gold Medal Squared trained.

Laura Stevens
Assistant Coach - BRYC 18 Smack
Now in her ninth year of coaching, Coach Laura Stevens has over 20 years of volleyball experience and has coached players ranging from twelve to eighteen years of age. She was a two-sport, all-conference athlete in volleyball and basketball in high school and led her college volleyball club team to the championship her senior year.
Laura has been a head coach in USAV since 2005. Previously she coached with NVVA where she coached 15s, 14s and 13s. She took her 13s teams to consecutive #2 rankings in the region and a trip to the Junior Olympic Nationals in 09. Laura is currently the JV Head coach at Loudoun County High School and was the Freshman head coach in 2009. Over the past 2 years at Loudoun County, her teams have accomplished an impressive 54-0 record. She is also an Assistant Coach for the past 3 years for the 4-time AA State Championship Varsity team at Loudoun County High School. While she has had the privilege of coaching many successful teams and talented athletes in Northern Virginia, her coaching philosophy is to see athletes find success and fun in working hard to improve as a volleyball player and accomplish their personal and team goals.
Coach Stevens is Impact, ASEP, and VHSL certified and recently received her CAP-I certification. She is also Gold Medal Squared trained.

Rob Baily
Head Coach - BRYC Boys 14 Smack
Rob Baily has been involved in the great sport of volleyball for more than 25 years. Starting out as a player on a Club Team in Colorado, Rob earned a scholarship to George Mason University (GMU) where he played in the 1988 Final Four team earning Athletic and Academic All American honors. After graduating from GMU, he continued to compete on top level USA Volleyball clubs on the East Coast in the role player coach and Team Captain. Rob's teams have competed and placed in the Open Division at Nationals. He also is an avid beach and grass volleyball player with dozens of tournament wins including stops on the Toyota Pro Beach Volleyball tour, USA Grass Nationals, the Mother Lode in Aspen, CO and the Pottstown Rumble (the toughest grass tournament in the country) where he has won 6 times, most recently at the age of 37. His kids have grown up watching the sport and joining in whenever the opportunity has arisen and Rob looks forward to sharing the game with them and other kids who have an interest in volleyball, which is a game for life.
Mark Thompson
Club Administration & Floating Coach
Coach Mark Thompson has 25+ years of volleyball experience as a player and coach. Coach Thompson started his volleyball career by representing Central New York in the Scholastic Division of the Empire State Games in 1982. He then went to Cortland State where he played Football, Track & Field and Volleyball.
After graduating from Cortland State, Coach Thompson played RS Hitter on a men's Club Team in Bronxville, NY before moving to the Mid Atlantic area in 1993. After playing a couple of years on a men's USAV Club Team in Northern VA, Coach Thompson was introduced to Doubles Volleyball where he has played in many MAV and Columbia Double tournaments over the years.
In 2002, Coach Thompson started his coaching career by coaching his daughter with the BRYC program. Wanting to help volleyball grow in Fairfax County, Coach Thompson volunteered to become Commissioner of BRYC Volleyball. In late 2007 Coach Thompson, along with Coach Davis, expanded BRYC into Club volleyball. Coach Thompson was the assistant varsity volleyball coach at Fairfax High School in 2011. He is looking forward to many more successful volleyball seasons with the Braddock Road Volleyball Club.
